| Description: | R.H. White Construction Company, a respected Massachusetts General Contractor, with a reputation for quality and excellence, is seeking a dynamic Chief Estimator to lead and manage the Company’s Estimating Department. |
| Duties: | The successful candidate must have:
• a commitment to excellence and be able to plan, coordinate and lead the Company’s Estimating Department, while providing technical and administrative expertise to the entire Estimating function.
• experience managing a construction company Estimating Department, including familiarity with budget issues, staffing, work assignments, and performance evaluations.
• demonstrated experience assisting corporate and project management to determine what types of projects to bid, bid strategies, and techniques.
• significant experience reviewing all final estimate packages to insure accuracy and completeness prior to formal quotation.
• Must also be able to provide technical assistance in negotiating contracts, change orders, etc., as required.

| Qualifications: | The successful candidate will have 10 plus years of estimating experience with substantial experience in treatment plant estimating. Such experience must include at least 5 years managing a medium sized or larger construction company estimating department. A BS Degree in a construction engineering related discipline, knowledge of estimating software programs such as Timberline, and excellent communication and problem solving skills are an absolute necessity.
